CAN THEY JOIN IN THE FUN?Ībsolutely! We strongly encourage family participation as it's a great way to experience firsthand the IOB magic. Using pencil, pen, and paper, participants will draw, create, and share their artwork with others. We'll wrap up with the Doodle Lounge! IOB encourages students to explore their creativity and interests alongside their peers. And we know our students love to talk about their favorite things! Natterdays captures that energy and enthusiasm and welcomes students to take turns and collaborate with one another to develop a one-of-a-kind story. "Natter" means to talk casually or to chatter. We'll transition into the next activity with a storytelling exercise called Natterdays. Students bring their own spin to topics like "Create your own superhero shield," or "Animal Mashup." The sky's the limit! And we usually see some awesome creations. Smactivities or Subject Matter Activities! Students will be given a specific topic where they have the chance to dig into the subject, create a unique design, and share their awesomeness with their peers. This helps everyone ease into the workshop and get the creative juices flowing for our first activity which is… We'll kick the afternoon off with a quick welcome and introduction followed by the Question of the Day where each participant gets to share their answers with the group.
